"in my experience, no one answers the phone during business hours, and no one returns voice mails."
We responded:
"Robert, I’m so sorry if you’ve had a hard time getting ahold of us this week. I have a team member who’s been in the hospital all week, and another who is out of the office for her wedding. Unfortunately we are operating on just one person who is desperately trying to catch all the phones. Thankfully, she is moving heaven and earth to take care of our clients who have been incredibly understanding due to the unique circumstances we are facing this week. In your case, although we did miss your first call on Wednesday, Bonnie did call you back that afternoon, but unfortunately your voicemail system did not allow her to leave a message. From your perspective, however, I’m sure you felt as though she did not return your call as a result. Fortunately, she was able to get you on the phone the very next day at which point you informed her that you had already written the policy elsewhere. I’m incredibly sorry for the inconvenience of making you wait 24 hours to be serviced, however Bonnie is running one of the largest agencies in Santa Fe by herself this week, and is honestly doing a magnificent job at getting back to every single person who leaves a message by the end of the day. I’m sorry that you felt that having to wait 24 hours to speak to her warranted a 1-Star review which is so damaging to businesses, especially after she apologized for the delay and explained our unique circumstances to you personally on the phone. "
